The rules of procedure of the AMÖ Conciliation Board is applicable in the version on the date of the initiation of the conciliation. The decision of the Conciliation Board is binding for the AMÖ mover, provided the subject matter of the complaint is allocated to the jurisdiction of the local courts under the German Judicature Act. The application for the initiation of conciliation proceeding must be filed in writing. The proceedings are free of charge for consumers.
